Australia eased to a 4-0 lead after centuries from Karen Rolton and Alex Blackwell ensured another one-sided victory over India. The results means that India don't have a single victory in the nine games since their triumphant Asia Cup campaign.

Australia had progressed to 0 for 51 on choosing to bat before Lauren Ebsary gave a return catch to Amita Sharma. That brought together Rolton and Blackwell and the pair's167-run association propelled Australia to 281, their highest score against India.Rolton's whirlwind 101 was her eighth hundred, which made her the leading century-maker in women's ODIs, while opener Blackwell made a more patient 106 to anchor the innings.

For the third match in a row, India never threatened to overhaul Australia's total. Opener Thirush Kamini was run out in the third over to start the procession, and when they lost the big wicket of Mithali Raj to slump to 4 for 51, their chances evaporated. A 57-run stand between Anagha Despande and Priyanka Roy merely delayed the Australian victory. Elysee Perry was the most effective of the hosts' bowlers, finishing with career-best figures of 3 for 21.

It was Australia's sixth win on the trot and Rolton was pleased with the performance. "As a team, we wanted to work on a few things today, especially with our batting. We wanted to try and score 300, we fell just short of that," she said.

Rolton's century was her first substantial score in ODIs since her half-century against England in February. "I hit the ball well in the Twenty20 match and was disappointed over the couple of games because I had plenty of opportunities but didn't take my chances to get a big score," she said. "I got a bit nervous when I was in the 90s but it was great to get to three figures. I hadn't taken too much notice of being equal with Sarah Taylor for the most number of hundreds. There are a lot of girls making hundreds in international cricket now, so it's great just score another one."

The final match of the series is at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Sunday.
