Quiz! Name the India bowlers with most Test wickets in a losing cause

India
by Wisden Staff 6 minute play

In this quiz, you have to name the Indian bowlers with the most Test wickets in a losing cause.

India played their first ever Test in 1932, but it wasn’t until 1952 that they first tasted success, winning the Madras Test that year against England.

While most of the list contains relatively recent names, India’s early record on the Test circuit means that there are also players from their early days as a Test nation, making this quiz quite tricky to get full marks in.

Only two out of the 26 names have taken more than 100 wickets in a losing cause. The cut-off has been kept at 25 wickets.
