Six Surrey players have self-isolated as a precautionary measure related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement, Surrey confirmed that not all six had reported symptoms, but due to close proximity, all have been instructed to stay at home. The rest of the squad will continue to train ahead of the first-class season, currently set to begin on April 2.

Surrey had previously cancelled their pre-season training tour to Dubai due to coronavirus fears.
