Next up in our series looking at ground equipment companies, Stuart Canvas Ltd explain the services and expertise they have to offer after 44 years in the business.

We have been the leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of sport, bespoke and haulage covers since 1971. Our aim is to prevent games being cancelled or items being damaged from inclement weather using high-quality materials at competitive prices.

Cricket is one of our most popular categories of sport for which we have provided covers and equipment and we are proud of how we have grown and adapted to suit just what is needed to keep the game going. With our famous Hover Cover being used by all the major UK Test-match venues, and our Mobile Covers, which can be seen at the majority of County Grounds, we aim to ensure all levels of cricket are not being cancelled due to bad weather.

All of our cricket covers are manufactured on-site from a one-level platform, giving us quick turnaround times and high levels of control throughout the manufacturing process. This enabled us to achieve our ISO 9001:2008 accreditation.

We take pride in providing clubs and independent schools with the best possible solutions for their squares. With a variety of ground equipment, such as sightscreens, electric scoreboards and batting cages, we can accommodate any budget and deliver and install across the UK.

With our ECB-approved pitch system supplier status for our SCP Deluxe System we have been installing non-turf training systems across the UK. We have also been upgrading and renovating old training systems to give them a new lease of life.

But we cover more than just cricket in the sports industry, supplying rain covers to the famous Wimbledon Tennis Championships, vet screens to the Olympics and refurbishing indoor tennis halls at popular fitness clubs.
