The legends competition, which has already seen Pakistan greats such as Mushtaq Ahmed and Inzamam-ul-Haq show why they were so celebrated, threw up another moment to savour.
The older Razzaq is one of Pakistan’s most celebrated all-rounders, with three tons in each of Test and ODI cricket, and averages nearing 30 with the bat in both. He also claimed nearly 400 wickets in a Pakistan career spanning 14 years.
His son is a budding cricketer, and featured in the Kashmir Premier League for Mirpur Royals, a team coached by his father, as well as appearing for Bahawalpur Raiders in the Pakistan Junior League.
He showed what he’s about in the Mega Stars League, dangling a length ball wide outside the off stump which his father could only edge through to the keeper, sparking wild celebrations.
