Misbah-ul-Haq’s 20-year-old son Faham-ul-Haq has continued his stellar form in the Pakistan domestic circuit with a third consecutive 50+ score in the President’s Cup.
253 runs and seven wickets in five games: Faham has started President's Cup 2025/26 in style
Faham had started the domestic season for Faisalabad with a maiden half-century in professional cricket, scoring 51 against Sialkot in their second game of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He followed it up with a 78-run knock against FATA in an innings win for Faisalabad after missing the Multan game, which they lost by 10 wickets.
The left-handed batter only built on it, scoring two centuries in the next three games and eventually finishing the tournament with 556 runs in 13 innings at 45.98. This was a sign of things to come, as he has started the President’s Cup in fine fashion as well.
Playing for Sahir Associates in the List-A tournament, he was run out for 1 off 2 batting in the middle order in their opener against the State Bank of Pakistan. But he returned to the top from the next game and followed up a 27-ball 26 with his maiden List-A ton against Pakistan Television.
Faham then hit 66 in an 87-run win against WAPDA and followed it up with 60 in a three-wicket defeat to Oil and Gas. After five games, he now has 253 runs at 63.25 and a strike-rate of 80.31.

He has also bowled regularly in the President’s Cup, picking career-best figures of 4-30 against WAPDA. In all, Faham has seven wickets in five games with his right-arm medium to add to the three he picked up in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy, all of which came in the first innings of the tournament opener against Karachi Blues.
