      Who is Vaibhav Suryavanshi?

Suryavanshi first came to attention in 2023, when he represented India U19s B side when he was just 12 years old. Last September he made his debut for the full India U19 side in Australia, scoring the fastest century for a player of that age group on youth Test debut. He was subsequently picked up in the auction for the 2025 IPL by Rajasthan Royals, and became the youngest debutant in the history of the competition earlier this year, just after he turned 14.

He hit a six off his first ball in the competition against Lucknow Super Giants, and went on to score a century against Gujarat Titans. His innings in that match was the second-fastest hundred in IPL history, finishing on 101 off 38 balls. That innings made him the youngest player ever to score a men's T20 century, smashing the previous record which belonged to Vijay Zol who was 18 years and 118 days old when he set the benchmark.
