Australia have named their squads for the upcoming white-ball tours of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Oliver Peake, who captained Australia at the 2026 under-19 World Cup, has received his maiden senior call-up for the Pakistan ODIs. All-rounder Liam Scott has been named in both the ODI squads, while left-arm spinner Joel Davies has been picked for the Bangladesh T20Is.
The three-match series is scheduled to start just a day before the IPL final. Thus, the likes of Travis Head (Sunrisers Hyderabad), Cooper Connolly, Xavier Bartlett and Ben Dwarshuis (all Punjab Kings) have not been picked for the Pakistan tour as their respective franchises could go the distance. Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis, both of bottom-placed Lucknow Super Giants, have been picked, as has Cameron Green, who is playing for Kolkata Knight Riders.
The pace-bowling trio of Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, all currently playing in the IPL, have not been picked in any of the three squads. All three have recently returned from respective injuries and Cricket Australia are keen to rest them ahead of the home Test series against Bangladesh in August. Marsh will captain the ODI squads in Cummins’s absence.
The three-match ODI series against Pakistan starts on May 30 in Rawalpindi, with the second and third matches scheduled on June 2 and 4, respectively, in Lahore. The three-ODI series in Bangladesh will be played in Mirpur from June 9 to 14, with the three T20I scheduled between June 17 and 21, in Chattogram.
