Alyssa Healy guided Australia A to a comfortable victory in the third unofficial ODI against India A today (August 17), smashing an unbeaten 137 off just 85 balls.
India A elected to bat first in the third match of the series having won the first two. Shafali Verma recorded her first half-century of the series, scoring 52 off 59 balls, but rarely got consistent support from the other end. The only other Indian batter to cross 40 was Yastika Bhatia, who made 42 off 54 batting at No.5.
Tahlia McGrath picked up 3-40 from her 8 overs, including the wickets of both Verma and Bhatia, as Australia A bowled India A out for 216.

In response, Australia A made short work of the chase. The opening duo of Healy and Tahlia Wilson (59 off 51) added 137 in 16.1 overs for the first wicket, before Rachel Trenaman (21 off 31) played the supporting act to perfection at No.3 as Healy smashed her way to a hundred and took Australia A over the line with as many as 22.1 overs remaining.
Healy remained unbeaten on 137 off just 85 balls, having hit 23 fours and three sixes. She reached her hundred in the 23rd over of the innings, off 64 balls, her first 50 having come off only 30.
This was Healy's second consecutive big score; she had made 91 off 87 balls in the second unofficial ODI, helping Australia A get up to 265-9 in 50 overs. That knock came in a losing cause, however, as India A sealed a thrilling two-wicket victory with just one ball remaining.
Healy ends the 50-over series as the highest run-scorer, with 242 runs at 121. She was also the highest scorer in the T20s, where she made 124 runs from three games at a strike rate of 149.39. Australia A blanked India A 3-0 in that series, preceding the unofficial ODIs.
The tour will now move into its final leg: an unofficial Test to be played between August 21 and August 24 at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane.
