What is the schedule for Bengal Pro T20 League 2025?
When the Bengal Pro T20 came into existence last year, it became India’s first state association-run women’s franchise T20 League. Organised by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), the tournament consists of eight teams in both the men’s and women’s versions, representing different districts, regions and cities in the Indian state of West Bengal. They are Malda, Murshidabad, Siliguri, Medinipur, Kolkata, Howrah, Rarh, and Diamond Harbour.
The second season of the Bengal Pro T20 began on June 11 and will continue till June 28. The men's version will be held at the Eden Gardens, while the women's version will take place at Jadavpur University Campus Stadium in Salt Lake, Kolkata.
What's the format of Bengal Pro T20 League 2025?
The league stage, played in a single round-robin format, will feature 28 matches and conclude on June 25. The top four teams advance to the June 26 semi-finals, with the winners progressing to the June 28 final.
In the mens' inaugural edition, Sobisco Smashers Malda and the Murshidabad Kings were crowned joint-champions after rain abandoned the final. Meanwhile, Lux Shyam Kolkata won the women's title, defeating Murshidabad Kueens by five runs in the final.
