Rayudu: If the management had team interests first, RCB would have won trophies

Ambati Rayudu has launched a scathing attack on Royal Challengers Bengaluru after their Eliminator loss against Rajasthan Royals.

“My heart truly goes out to all the RCB supporters who have passionately supported the team over the years,” Rayudu wrote on X. “If only the management and the leaders had the teams interests ahead of individual milestone.”

Rayudu’s comments came after he teased Bengaluru with an Instagram video of Chennai Super Kings’ last year’s title-winning campaign, of which he was a part. The former India batter captioned the post, “Just a kind reminder from the 5-time champions. Sometimes, a gentle reminder is required.”

Raina hits back at journalist over Afridi being T20 World Cup ambassador taunt

Suresh Raina lashed out at a journalist on X after the latter tried to taunt him over Shahid Afridi being one of the ambassadors for the 2024 World Cup. Earlier, while commentating in IPL 2024, Raina made a teasing remark on Afridi’s retirement u-turns when asked whether he had any plans to revoke his retirement. The journalist’s outrage could be due to this particular on-air comment.

“I’m not an ICC ambassador, but I have the 2011 World Cup at my house. Remember the game at Mohali? Hope it brings back some unforgettable memories for you,” Raina responded on X.
