On the morning of day three, the left-armer removes both set batters – Rehan Ahmed and Ekansh Singh. He has four now, following his five-for in the first innings.

England Lions are 156-7, leading by 71. 

A 55-run last-wicket stand between Dane Paterson (33) and Codi Yusuf (21*) helped South Africa A to 278 in the first innings at Beckenham. They now have an 85-run lead over the hosts. For the Lions, Henry Crocombe and Eddie Jack picked up four wickets each. 

Batting at No.3, Jordan Hermann steadied the innings, bringing up his eighth first-class hundred in the first innings. He made 103 in 111 balls before becoming the ninth wicket to fall. 

The visitors have a slight advantage in the first innings, overhauling England Lions' 193 first innings total. They have four wickets in hand, with Jordan Hermann batting on 87*. 

The visitors had added 25 to their overnight score of 73-3 when the right-arm pacer went through Zubayr Hamza's defence to uproot his leg stump.

Henry Crocombe then had Marques Ackerman caught behind as the visitors went four down.

South Africa A: 107-4 after 30 overs.

The visitors are well-placed at the end of day one, trailing by 120 with eight wickets in hand.

He gets both South Africa A openers in back-to-back overs, and the visitors are 54-2 in the 17th over.

Ekansh Singh is the last man out for an agonising 95, five short of his maiden first-class century.

The next-highest score of the innings was 18 – it's a standout effort from the 19-year-old.

He top-scored in a collapse in the first innings of the previous game, and gets to a half-century now.

Codi Yusuf gets a second wicket as the Lions slip to 102-7.

The first interval brings with it a spell of gloom for the hosts, who have crumbled on the first morning.

Tiaan van Vuuren has 3-12, Dane Paterson 2-19 and Codi Yusuf 1-32.

Only three batters have reached double figures, the top score so far Ekansh Singh's unbeaten 26 off 27 balls.  

Lions have gone from 30-1 in the 11th over to 36-5 in 13. Tiaan van Vuuren took three wickets in two overs, while Codi Yusuf trapped Asa Tribe leg before.
