The second unofficial Test between England Lions and South Africa A starts in Beckenham on May 29. Follow live updates from the game here.
England Lions had fallen to an eight-wicket defeat in the first unofficial 'Test' in Arundel. They were bowled out for 157 after opting to bat first, with Ekansh Singh top-scoring with 25. Mitchell Stanley then gave them a great start in reply, taking three wickets in three overs as South Africa A were reduced to 54-5 by the 13th over on day one.
But captain Marques Ackerman led the fightback for the visitors with a 136-ball 175 and helped them to a 174-run lead. Asa Tribe and Ben Mayes tonned up in the second innings to set South Africa A 214 to win, which they achieved with eight wickets to spare.
The second 'Test' will be followed by three unofficial ODIs, to be held between June 5 and 9.
