Andrew Flintoff has been unveiled as one of the new presenters of the BBC’s long-running car magazine show Top Gear.
The former England all-rounder will partner comedian and Take Me Out presenter Paddy McGuinness on the show, which is again being revamped.
Chris Evans replaced the long-standing trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May after their departures in 2015, with Matt Le Blanc his co-presenter. Evans departed after one series with Le Blanc and Chris Harris continuing, but the American will be replaced by the northern duo when filming begins on series 27 in 2019.

“It’s not often you have the chance to do both of your dream jobs, but I’m now lucky enough to say I will have,” Flintoff said.
“I’ve always been passionate about cars and I’m so excited to be joining the Top Gear team.”
