The inaugural edition of the Global Cricket League kicks off on January 16. Here are all six squads for the tournament.
Who is playing in Global Cricket League 2026?
The United States-based T20 competition will feature former and current international stars, along with local talents, divided into six teams: Chicago Windchasers, Las Vegas Aces, Washington DC Eagles, Miami Waves, Houston Riders and New York Liberty.
The likes of Ravi Bopara, Saeed Ajmal, Jermaine Blackwood, Thisara Perera, S Sreesanth, Shoaib Malik, Martin Guptill, Shaun Marsh, Kamran Akmal and Mohammad Asif, among others, are set to feature in the tournament.
What is the format of Global Cricket League 2026?
A total of 18 games have been scheduled between January 16 and 25, including the semi-finals and the final.
The six teams will first face off in the league stage, with each side facing the other once. The top four teams after the league phase will qualify for the semi-finals.
All 18 matches will be played at the Central Broward Regional County Stadium in Lauderhill, Texas.
