T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier 2025: When and where will it be held?
The qualifier in Oman is set to get underway on Wednesday, October 8 and run until Friday, October 17. Twenty-two matches will take place, with all games hosted at the Oman Cricket Academy in Al Amerat. New Zealand legend Ross Taylor will make his international return as the 41-year-old turns out for his mother’s birth country, Samoa.
How will the T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier work?
The initial phase of the competition will see teams split into three groups of three. Each team will play two group games, with the bottom side eliminated as the rest progress to the Super Sixes. Each team in the Super Sixes will have four fixtures, as teams that met in the original group stages will not play each other again.
