The fourth edition of the ILT20 Development Tournament got underway on September 14. Here’s all you need to know about the competition.
The six ILT20 franchise will field their development sides in the tournament, which will also feature star players from the UAE alongside emerging cricketers. The teams will face each other in a round-robin format, and after 15 league stage matches, the top four teams in the points table will make it to the semifinals.
The league stage will conclude on September 22, while the semifinals will be played on the very next day. The final has been scheduled for September 24, with all the matches to be played at the ICC Academy in Dubai.
The first game of every double matchday will begin at 5pm local time (6:30pm IST and 2pm UK time) and the second at 9pm local time (10:30pm IST, 6pm UK time). On the other hand, the Dubai Capitals Development vs Desert Vipers Development match on Monday, September 21, and the final are scheduled to get underway at 7pm local time (8:30pm IST, 4pm UK time).
