Here is the schedule for India at the 2025 Asia Cup, including full fixtures, match timings, and venues.
When will Asia Cup 2025 be played?
Organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) since 1983, the Asia Cup will enter its 17th edition, having been held biennially. The upcoming tournament will feature eight teams divided into two groups:
Group A: India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman
Group B: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong
The tournament will run from September 9 to 28, with a total of 12 group-stage matches, followed by six Super Four fixtures and the final.
Unlike the 2023 Asia Cup, which was played in the ODI format ahead of the 2023 World Cup, the upcoming edition will follow the T20I format, serving as a precursor to the 2026 T20 World Cup. Defending champions India are the most successful team in the tournament’s history, with eight titles, followed by Sri Lanka (six) and Pakistan (two).

When will India start their Asia Cup 2025 campaign?
India will start their campaign with the first match against Group A rivals United Arab Emirates on September 10, then they will play arch rivals Pakistan on September 14 and Oman on September 19.
Fans could also witness India and Pakistan clash twice more later in the tournament, as both teams are strong favourites to advance from their group to the Super Fours. If they maintain their form, the two rivals may even meet again in the final.
