The BCCI are set to announce India's ODI and Test squads for Afghanistan's visit on Tuesday, June 19. Follow all the live updates from the press conference here.
India are set to welcome Afghanistan for a one-off Test and a three-match ODI series in June. The red-ball fixture will be played in New Chandigarh from June 6, while the ODI leg starts on June 14 in Dharamshala, with the second and third fixtures to be played in Lucknow and Chennai on June 17 and 20, respectively.
There are a lot of crucial selection calls to be taken, but widespread reports claim Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya's fitness could be among the most-discussed points from the ODI point of view. Jasprit Bumrah could be rested after a busy five months to start the year, with a tour of Ireland and the UK coming up later in the year.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, who played India's last ODI series, is a strong contender to replace Rohit should the former captain miss out on a spot. Virat Kohli's selection looks certain, with form and fitness on his side.
The team announcement is scheduled for 4pm IST, with chief selector Ajit Agarkar and BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia also set to address a press conference.

Will Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya miss out?
India Today have reported that both Rohit and Pandya are waiting for medical clearance.
The opening batter has largely featured as an impact sub in the ongoing IPL season, while also injuring his hamstring in a game against RCB. BCCI are thus unclear whether he has enough workload under his belt to play a three-match ODI series.
Pandya has been out of action for a fortnight now due to a back issue, missing MI's last three games.
