Ireland will clash with Bangladesh in three crucial ODIs that are set to determine whether they will qualify automatically for the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. To stand any chance, Ireland need to beat Bangladesh by a 3-0 margin.

Ireland have, thus, named a full-strength squad which will be led by Andrew Balbirnie. Paul Stirling will also be a key player at the top of the order. Elsewhere, the likes of George Dockrell, Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker would be hoping to give a good account of themselves.

In the pace-bowling department, Josh Little returns after missing the Test series against Sri Lanka. Alongside Craig Young, Curtis Campher and Mark Adair, Ireland have more than enough bowling firepower to trouble Bangladesh.

Speaking of Bangladesh, the visitors will be led by Tamim Iqbal, who would be hoping to build more momentum heading into the ODI World Cup. Litton Das and Shakib Al Hasan are also part of the squad, which includes experienced batter Mushfiqur Rahim. Mahmudullah, who did not feature in the home ODI series against Ireland, is not a part of this squad either.

The first ODI is slated for May 9, with the second game scheduled for May 12. The third and final ODI, meanwhile, will take place on May 14. All matches will be held at the County Ground in Chelmsford.
