What are the CEAT awards?

That was Rohit's last act as India captain. Since then, he has retired from Test cricket and has been replaced by Shubman Gill as the ODI captain.
Who were the other major winners?
Joe Root bagged the international cricketer of the year award, which was won by Rohit himself last year. The India opener had also won this title for the 2019-20 season he had. Meanwhile, for Root, it was the second time he won this award, having last done so after the 2015-16 season.
The Test cricketer of the year award went to Root's teammate Harry Brook, who has had a phenomenal time in the longest format, briefly reaching the top spot in the ICC rankings as well in this period.
Among Indian cricketers, Sanju Samson was named the T20I batter of the year while Varun Chakravarthy was named the T20I bowler of the year. Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma, meanwhile, won the women's batter and bowler of the year awards respectively.
