The SA20 2027 auction will see a total of 156 players go under the hammer. Here are all the latest updates from the auction.

The player auction for SA20 2027, the fifth edition of the tournament, will witness a tussle between four franchises for the 156 shortlisted players, with Paarl Royals and Durban's Super Giants already fulfilling their squad requirements.

Each team has a total purse of R42 million to assemble their squad for the next season, which begins on January 17.

How the teams stack up ahead of the SA20 2027 auction

Each team can have a maximum of 19 players in their squad, including a Wildcard and two mandatory U23 players. Joburg Super Kings and MI Cape Town have six slots to fill, while Pretoria Capitals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape have five and two remaining slots, respectively.
