Sri Lanka and England will face off in three ODIs from tomorrow (January 22). Here's where to watch the series live, including TV channels and live streaming.
The ODI series is the first leg of England's tour of Sri Lanka, and will be followed by three T20Is that serve as preparation for both sides for the upcoming T20 World Cup in February.
England are up against it in this format. Sri Lanka have been unbeaten in their last 13 ODI home series, a run stretching over four years now, while England have lost all of their last four ODI series away from home.
For the visitors, this series also represents a chance to collect some valuable points in order to move up the ICC world rankings in men's ODIs. After a sustained run of poor form, they are in danger of falling low enough in the rankings to miss automatic qualification for the 2027 World Cup.
England named their XI for the series opener one day in advance, with opener Zak Crawley returning to the ODI fold after over two years.
