Anvay Dravid

India have included Anvay Dravid, the son of the legendary Rahul, in their U19 squad for the Sri Lanka tour.

Maiden India U19 call-up for Anvay Dravid

India have named their U19 squads for the three Youth ODIs and two Youth Tests in Sri Lanka, to be played between July 4 and 23. Both squads will be led by Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan, while Lakshya Raichandani will be his deputy.

The Youth ODI squad also includes Anvay Dravid, the son of former India captain and head coach Rahul. Samit, Rahul Dravid’s elder son and an all-rounder, had played for the Karnataka U19, but could not break into the national squad. He was in the news last year when he played against Arjun Tendulkar, son of Rahul Dravid’s long-term teammate Sachin.

Wicketkeeper-batter Anvay has impressed for the Karnataka U16s, and was part of a tri-series in end-2025 that featured two India U19 sides (A and B) and Afghanistan U19.
