The 2025/26 Super Smash began on December 26, and here’s where you can watch the tournament live.

A total of 32 matches will be played in the 21st edition of the tournament, which will run from December 26, 2025 to January 31, 2026. Six teams will take part: Auckland Aces, Canterbury Kings, Central Stags, Northern Brave, Otago Volts and Wellington Firebirds.

Auckland are the most successful team, with five titles, while defending champions Central Stags have won the Super Smash four times.

Super Smash 25/26 format and schedule

There will be 30 league games in the season, with each team playing every other side twice. Auckland and Central Stags will take on each other in the last game of the first round, on January 26, with the Eliminator between the second and third-placed teams set to be held on January 30. The finals, between the table toppers and the winners of the Eliminator, will be held at Christchurch a day later.
