Three Pakistan players have tested positive for Covid-19 after the first round of scheduled tests ahead of the upcoming tour of England.

Uncapped batsman Haider Ali, right-arm quick Haris Rauf, and leg-spinning all-rounder Shadab Khan are the three players affected. All three are asymptomatic.

It is not yet known whether, after a period of self-isolation, they might still be able to travel to England with the team. Bilal Asif, Imran Butt, Musa Khan and Mohammad Nawaz are the four players named as cover in case of any positive tests before travelling.
