TNPL 2023: Teams

The seventh edition of the TNPL will be played between June 12 and July 12, 2023, with eight teams – Chennai Super Gillies, Lyca Kovai Kings, Dindigul Dragons, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, Nellai Royal Kings, Ba11sy Trichy, Salem Spartans, and Siechem Madurai Panthers.

TNPL 2023: Format

The eight teams will play in a round-robin league format. The 28 league matches will be played in Coimbatore, Dindigul, Salem, and Tirunelveli. Salem will then host the Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator, while Tirunelveli will host the Qualifier 2 and the Final.

TNPL 2023: Past winners

Chepauk Super Gillies (now Chennai Super Gillies) have won the TNPL in 2017, 2019, and 2021, and were declared joint champions with Lyca Kovai Kings after the 2022 final was washed out.

Tuti Patriots (now Salem Spartans) in 2016 and Madurai Super Giants (now Siechem Madurai Panthers) in 2018 are the only other teams to have won the TNPL.
