UAE vs BAN 2025 T20Is: Team News
UAE have named three uncapped players: Ethan D'Souza, Matiullah Khan and Haider Ali. Muhammad Waseem has been reappointed as captain after stepping down from T20I captaincy in October last year. Vriitya Aravind, Basil Hameed and Junaid Siddiqui, meanwhile, are among the notable names to have been dropped.
Bangladesh unveiled a 16-member squad for both tours, naming Litton Das as their new captain. Litton replaced Najmul Hossain Shanto, who retains his place in the squad. The selection also marked the return of several players - including Towhid Hridoy, Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shoriful Islam - all of whom missed December's West Indies series.
Litton had previously served as stand-in captain during that tour, leading Bangladesh to a historic 3-0 clean sweep on foreign soil. He will be the skipper of the side until next year's T20 World Cup, revealed Bangladesh cricket operations chair Najmul Abedin.
