Watch: Phoebe Litchfield played a stunning reverse hit for a four during the third Australia-West Indies T20I on Thursday (October 5).
Batting on 10 off 8, Litchfield started the 18th over of Australia’s innings with a six and two consecutive fours on the first three deliveries of the over bowled by Hayley Matthews. The first ball was dispatched over long-on for a six, and the next was a pull shot for a boundary.
She followed it up with another cracking shot, changing her grip from left to right and sending the ball that was initially a bouncer on the leg-stump for a four towards deep backward point.
Litchfield ended with a 17-ball 36, taking her team from 121-4 in the 14th over to 190-8, when she was dismissed by Shamilia Connell.
Australia ended their 20 overs at 190-9, as they look for a series win.
