Watch: Rohit Sharma was the first India batsman to be dismissed in their first Test against England in Chennai, falling to an excellent delivery from Jofra Archer.
Having put on a mammoth 578 in the first innings, England were keen to get an early breakthrough against India. Archer stepped up, as he so often does. Archer, who recognized that the pitch had little on offer, unleashed the leg cutter to deceive Rohit.
Rohit poked at the back of a length, tempting delivery outside the off stump, and had to walk back for six after a routine catch from Jos Buttler.
