Watch: San Francisco Unicorns’ Shadab Khan dismissed Mitchell Santner with an outstanding googly during a 2023 Major League Cricket game against Texas Super Kings.
Shadab Khan, who has had impressive outings in the ongoing league, created headlines yet again with his dismissal of Santner during the 14th over of the second innings. Chasing 172, Texas kept losing early wickets and were reduced to 92-5 when Shadab got the wicket.
Assuming a leg-break, Santner looked to defend it, but the ball turned away after going past his bat, leaving the batter rooted in his crease. It went on to hit the top of the off stump, as Shadab got his second wicket of the day.
A blistering 18-ball 42 from Daniel Sams led Texas to the playoffs, allowing them to finish second in the table, behind Seattle Orcas.
