Those watching Brisbane Heat’s clash with Melbourne Stars in the BBL on Thursday were treated to a sensational bit of fielding from Max Bryant.

In a 10-overs-a-side bash, the Stars’ Nick Larkin went on a hitting spree and seemed set to clear the ropes off Lewis Gregory when he thumped one high towards cow corner from the second ball of the penultimate over in a chase of 129.

Patrolling the fence was Bryant who leapt high beyond the boundary to grab the ball and chuck it back into the field before he fell, saving four runs in the process.

While Larkin smashed an unbeaten 35 off 16 balls, the Stars fell short by 17 runs.
