West Indies announced a new-look squad, including a first-time captain, for their historic T20I series against Nepal. Check out the full squads here.
Why is the West Indies-Nepal series historic?
It will be the first time these two teams will play a bilateral series, having never faced each other in international cricket (yet). It will serve as ideal preparation for the West Indies ahead of the 2026 men's T20 World Cup, with matches set to be played in the UAE.
These matches are also outside the ICC Future Tours Programme.

Hosein has an experienced core around him in Jason Holder, Fabian Allen and Kyle Mayers.
Who are the new faces?
Karima Gore: Slow left-arm bowler, who has played 16 ODIs and 8 T20Is for USA. Gore starred with the bat in the early stages of CPL 2025, scoring 219 runs at a strike-rate of 130, but finished with four ducks in his last five games.

Ramon Simmonds: The 23-year-old left-arm quick has already played three seasons of CPL alongside a brief SA20 stint. This year, he finished as the second-highest wicket-taker for Barbados Royals (13 wickets at 22).
