Ireland travel to West Indies for a short limited-overs series, beginning from January 8 till January 16. The hosts will take the field with a full-strength side, led by Kieron Pollard with Shai Hope as the vice-captain. This will be West Indies’ first outing after being whitewashed 0-3 by Pakistan in the T20I series in December 2021.
Ireland, on the other hand, will enter the series without the best build-up. They were scheduled to play two ODIs against the USA last month, but the series was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The side last traveled to West Indies in 2020, when they were thrashed 0-3 in the ODI series.
All matches between the two countries will be played at Sabina Park in Jamaica.
