In this quiz, you have to name the batters dismissed most often by Muttiah Muralidaran in Test cricket.
As of now – April 17, 2026 – Muralidaran’s world record tally of 800 Test wickets does not seem likely to be overhauled anytime soon. Of these wickets, 12 (the most) were of a South African, followed by a Zimbabwean (10), and four others on nine.
Two others have picked up more than 700 wickets in Test cricket - Shane Warne (708) and James Anderson (704). Anil Kumble (619) and Stuart Broad (604) are the others with more than 600 scalps in the format.

In all, Muralidaran dismissed 46 batters at least five times. Between them, these 46 contributed to 298 of his Test wickets.
