In this quiz, you have to name the bowlers who have taken the most number of wickets in the 2023-25 edition of the World Test Championship.

An Australian took the most wickets (80) in the 2023-25 World Test Championship. In second place is an Indian with 77 – of these, 71 wickets came in 2024, at 14.92 and a strike-rate of 30.1. To put things in perspective, no bowler in the history of Test cricket has taken as many wickets at a better average or strike rate. He is also the only bowler to get to 200 Test wickets at a sub-20 average.

Another Australian is in third with 77 wickets. The fourth and fifth spots are occupied by two off-spinners – one Australian and the other Indian. While the Indian retired with 63 wickets in the cycle, his Australian counterpart took 66.

As many as 10 players took at least 50 wickets in the 2023–25 WTC cycle. That number rises to 44 when the cutoff is reduced to 20 wickets.
