Kohli’s run tally is also the fourth-highest among Indians.
His status as India’s most successful Test captain further elevates his legacy. In 68 matches, he won 40 and drew 11 times, giving him a win percentage of 58.82. The pinnacle moment came when India won their first series on Australian soil in the 2018-2019 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
