In this quiz, you have to list the New Zealand players who have opened the innings in men's Tests this century.
New Zealand's current Test captain has scored the most runs (5,700 at an average of 38.46 from 87 matches) among openers from his country since January 1, 2000. His tally in Tests is also the fifth-highest among all New Zealand batters.
Barring him, no other New Zealand opener has even crossed the 3,000-run mark since 2000, with the next best being 2,770. However, that latter player's average of 44.67 is the best among New Zealand openers this century. Six New Zealand openers have scored over 1,000 runs since 2000. The number stretches further to 13 when the cut-off is reduced to 500 runs.
