In this quiz, you have to name every wicketkeeper with 2,000 ODI runs.
For a long time, wicketkeepers were not expected to double up as a quality batter: the only thing that mattered was how proficient they were behind the stumps. Until the end of the 1980s, it was almost unheard-of for a wicketkeeper to bat in the top five of an ODI side.
A Zimbabwean changed things in the 1990s. Over the years, he established himself as the greatest batter in the history of the nation. From the second half of the 1990s, wicketkeepers began to be seen as one of the batters: merely being good at glovework seldom earned them a spot. Teams were even willing to use part-time wicketkeepers to bolster their batting units.
