
In this quiz, you have to name every batter to score at least 200 runs in a single day of men's Test cricket.
Test cricket has been around for nearly 150 years, but a single batter scoring over 200 runs in a single day's play is still quite rare. Often it requires a combination of a good wicket, some not-so-good bowling, some luck, and a game situation that allows it – apart from the batter's own skill.

This has happened on 51 occasions thus far, most recently during the course of a South African captain's triple-century which ended in a hotly debated declaration. This was another record he could have broken.

That player did record the seventh instance of a player scoring over 250 runs in a single day. Six different individuals have done it, with an Indian doing so twice. Only once has a batter scored over 300 runs in a day – and that was on this day in 1930.
