Known mostly as the creator of Peter Pan, JM Barrie used to run a cricket club that also featured Arthur Conan Doyle, PG Wodehouse, AA Milne, EW Hornung, Jerome K Jerome, EV Lucas, and Rudyard Kipling. Several of them were also members of the Authors Cricket Club, which boasted of Kamila Shamsie, Andy Zaltzman, Jon Hotten, and Test cricketer Ed Smith.
