Bangladesh and Pakistan will kick off their three-match T20I series on Sunday (July 20). Here's a reminder of what the ICC rankings for men's T20I sides currently look like ahead of the series.
The three matches will be played on July 20, 22, and 24, all at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. The last time these teams met was in May-June, when Pakistan whitewashed Bangladesh 3-0 in a home series. The previous encounter had been postponed after its original dates clashed with the PSL 2025 final, which resumed following a brief pause due to the India-Pakistan military tensions.
The good news for hosts Bangladesh is that they enter this series fresh from a historic 2-1 victory against Sri Lanka, their first-ever bilateral series win against the island nation. Pakistan, meanwhile, come into the contest having not played since their home series win against Bangladesh, preceded by a 1-4 defeat in New Zealand.
