In a tour that has been shortened – not once, but twice – Pakistan won the first match by 37 runs, posting 201-7 before restricting Bangladesh to 164. Hasan Ali starred that day with 5-30, and skipper Salman Agha scored 56.
The hosts then sealed a series victory two days later. Once again batting first, they made 201-6, the first time since 2018 that they had scored 200-plus in consecutive matches batting first. Sahibzada Farhan (74) and Hasan Nawaz (51*) made half-centuries, and Abrar Ahmed took a career-best 3-19.
Tonight, Pakistan eye a series whitewash, while Bangladesh hope to grab a consolation win.

Both sides made just one change each from the first to the second T20I – Pakistan left Fakhar Zaman out due to a niggle and his replacement at the top of the batting order, Sahibzada Farhan, won Player of the Match for his 74. There are no fresh injury concerns, but they may want to try a few other squad options with the series already wrapped up.
Bangladesh had replaced Mahedi Hasan with Mehidy Hasan Miraz in a tactical change, but lost fast bowler Shoriful Islam to a groin strain just three balls into his spell. He left the field, and is unlikely to play the third T20I. Mustafizur Rahman was already ruled out ahead of the series, meaning Khaled Ahmed could replace Shoriful for this game.
