England Lions vs India A: Team news
England Lions added Josh Tongue and Chris Woakes to their lineup in a bid to gain match practice ahead of the England Tests. Both shared the new ball, and could have a crucial role to play in an injury-depleted English pace attack. For India A, KL Rahul flew down to earn some time in the middle, and was unsurprisingly added to the XI, playing ahead of Sarfaraz Khan.
India A did not field Sarfaraz Khan, who hit 92 in the first game. Tanush Kotian is in for Harsh Dubey, while Tushar Deshpande gets a chance instead of Harshit Rana. Khaleel Ahmed comes in for Mukesh Kumar as well.
For England Lions, Jordan Cox comes in, as does George Hill and the Test-capped pace duo of Chris Woakes and Josh Tongue. Rehan Ahmed is not playing, but his brother Farhan is. Josh Hull and Ajit Singh Dale miss out as well.
