Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the third and last ODI of the series in England.
No Jasprit Bumrah in England-India ODI series decider
India had won the first ODI of the three-match series, at Birmingham, with six wickets and 28 balls to spare. The hosts hit back at Cardiff, winning by 35 balls inside 45 overs. The teams are now at Lord’s for the last game of the series.
At the toss, Indian captain Shubman Gill informed that Jasprit Bumrah would miss the game. “Boom misses out, knee injury, so is Washy [Washington Sundar]. KL [Rahul], Prince [Yadav], and Arshdeep [Singh] come back in.” Sundar has already been ruled out of the series: Harsh Dubey has replaced him.
Bumrah has had an reasonable series so far, with 2-76 from 19 overs. While he had not struck as often as India would have wanted him to (especially while defending a low target in the second game), he went for only four an over.
During the second game, Bumrah had sustained an injury to his left knee while fielding during the second ODI. The BCCI informed that “reactive swelling” had ruled him out of the third game.
"Jasprit Bumrah had an impact injury on his left knee while fielding in the second ODI in Cardiff. He was not available for selection for the third ODI due to reactive swelling in his left knee," said the BCCI.

Harry Brook won the toss and elected to bat. England made a change too, bringing in Josh Tongue for Saqib Mahmood.
