Jacob Bethell climbed up the rankings after his exploits in the second T20I against India, while Will Jacks has also broken into the top 10 rankings for all-rounders.

Jacob Bethell breaks into the top ten of men's T20I rankings for batters

Bethell smashed an unbeaten 76 off just 46 deliveries in the second T20I against India at Old Trafford to help England chase down 191 runs. It was also their highest successful run-chase against India in T20Is. He could only muster 13 in the third T20I.

His Manchester knock helped him jump seven positions in the latest ICC men’s T20I rankings for batters. He stormed into the top 10 and is now in eighth place with 708 rating points. In fact, Bethell lost 10 rating points after falling cheaply in the third match of the series.

Jacks has entered the top 10 list for men's all-rounders after a spell of 1-5 in the third game. He also had Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stumped in the second match of the series at Old Trafford.

Latest ICC men’s T20I rankings for batters

Among other England batters, Phil Salt and Jos Buttler stayed at fourth and seventh, respectively. Both bagged ducks in the second T20I but then scored 70 and 36 to help England post 201 runs in 20 overs at Trent Bridge.

Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan continued to be the top-ranked T20I batter after scoring 49 and 13 in the second and third T20I, respectively. Abhishek Sharma also maintained his second place after his 24-ball 43 at Old Trafford.
