England hammered India 4-0 to go first on the latest updated ICC T20I rankings. Here are the series ratings for England after their whitewash.

Jos Buttler - 8

Four innings, 175 runs at 43.75, HS: 131, SR: 182.29

Up until the fourth T20I, Buttler wasn't quite having a great series. He had accumulated just 44 runs in three innings, something much below his standards. However, the 35-year-old scored a blistering 131 off just 64 deliveries in the fifth T20I. His innings comprised 12 fours and eight sixes.

Phil Salt - 8.5

Four innings, 135 runs at 45, HS: 70, SR: 140.62

The England white-ball specialist showed versatality in the series, with two fifty-plus scores in four innings. His 70 in the third T20I anchored England's charge when wickets kept falling at regular intervals from the other end. Moreover, hsi 42-ball 59 helped the hosts home in the fourth T20I to seal the series.

Harry Brook - 9

Four innings, 229 runs at 114.50, HS: 95*, SR: 214.01

The England skipper has been in tremendous form throughout the series, with consistent runs. Starting off with a quickfire 16-ball 39 in the second T20I, Brook made his intentions clear. After an off day in the third T20I, he scored an unbeaten 79* and 95* in the two subsequent games to end up as England's highest run-scorer in the series. He partnered with Buttler in the fifth T20I for a 233-run stand.

Jacob Bethell - 6

Three innings, 89 runs at 44.5, HS: 76*, SR: 158.92

The youngster showcased his potential in the T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final against India at the Wankhede stadium, with a blistering ton. However, Bethell wasn't able to strike the same chord in the five-match T20I series against India. He could only manage 89 runs in the three innings against the Men in Blue.

Tom Banton - 4

Two innings, 39 runs at 19.5, HS: 39, SR: 118.18

Out of the five matches in the series, Banton got to walk out in two games. He could gather a 39 and a duck in the two innings, respectively. With England's batting performing consistently across the series, the lower middle-order wasn't tested as much.

Will Jacks - 6

Three innings, 30 runs at 15, HS: 14, SR: 176.47

Three wickets at 39, BBI: 1-5, Econ: 7.80

The England all-rounder has been a crucial link with the ball for the hosts. Though his stats don't shout excellence, Jacks has bowled some difficult overs for the side, still holding a healthy economy of 7.08.

Sam Curran - 7

Two innings, 48 runs at 48, HS: 41*, SR: 165.51

Seven wickets at 16.85, BBI: 3-33, Econ: 7.86

Curran scored a vital 41* off 24 deliveries in the third T20I in Nottingham, to help England towards a competitive total of 201/7. The left-handed all-rounder has been a vital cog for England with the ball in hand. His 3/33 in the second T20I in Manchester set up the game for the hosts.

Liam Dawson - 6.5

Two wickets at 33.5, BBI: 1-14, Econ: 8.37

The 36-year-old has been extremely economical with his spells, and has bowled in difficult phases successfully for England. He conceded 26 runs off three overs in the first T20I. In the second T20I, he bowled three overs for 27 runs and grabbed a solitary wicket.

Adil Rashid - 7

Six wickets at 24.5, BBI: 2-14, Econ: 9.38

The leg-spinner picked up four wickets in the series, and all four came at crucial intervals of the game. Shreyas Iyer took him down in the fourth T20I, but Rashid has been instrumental with mixing up deliveries in the other four T20Is.

Jofra Archer - 9

Seven wickets at 18.57, BBI: 3-29, Econ: 8.66

By far the best England bowler in the series, Jofra Archer has rattled the Indian batting with sheer pace. Batters found it difficult to deal with the extra bounce in the surface. Archer dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi multiple times via the short-pitched delivery.

Josh Tongue - 7

Seven wickets at 23.28, BBI: 3-29, Econ: 10.18

The speedster made his debut in the series, and picked up six wickets, including a four-wicket haul. Josh Tongue has been instrumental with his ability to seam the ball around. Though he went for a lot of runs in the second and fifth T20I, he picked up all of his six wickets in two matches.

Saqib Mahmood - 6

Three wickets at 11, BBI: 3-33, Econ: 8.25

Mahmood played a solitary game in the series, and picked up three wickets. Though England never got a chance to bat in the first T20I, the bowling has always been top notch for the entire series. And Saqib Mahmood was the highest wicket-taker for England in the first T20I.

Luke Wood - 1

Zero wickets at -, BBI: 0-35, Econ: 11.66

The left-arm speedster wasn't given much opportunities in the series, and hence could not make any impact. In three overs bowled in the first T20I, Wood gave away 35 runs with no wickets to his name.
