Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made his much-awaited India debut in the second T20I against England, becoming the second-youngest men's international cricketer among full-member sides.

Youngest debutants for India in international cricket: Sooryavanshi breaks Sachin Tendulkar's record

Sooryavanshi broke Sachin Tendulkar’s 37-year-old record to become the youngest men's debutant for India in international cricket. Tendulkar made his international bow against Pakistan at the age of 16 years and 205 days in November 1989 in the Karachi Test. Sooryavanshi got a chance to don the Indian jersey at the age of 15 years and 99 days.

Piyush Chawla, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan and Parthiv Patel complete the top five of the youngest international debutants for India. While Chawla took the field against England in a Test in March 2006 at the age of 17 years and 75 days, Sivaramakrishnan was only 17 years and 118 days old on his debut for India.
