Ollie Robinson has been rewarded for consistent performances in the two Tests against Pakistan.

The right-arm fast bowler jumped six spots to get into the top five for the first time since July 2023. The achievement comes after taking 16 wickets in the first two Tests against Pakistan, which earned him his third consecutive 'Player of the Match' award. Robinson currently stands fifth in the rankings, only behind Mitchell Starc, Jasprit Bumrah, Matt Henry and Pat Cummins.

The 32-year-old took a five-wicket haul in the first innings of the first Test at Headingley, and backed that up with three in the second innings. He registered two four-wicket hauls in the Lord’s Test to clinch the three-match series 2-0. Other than Robinson, Bumrah dropped to the third place from second with Henry taking the second spot.
