This series is important to both teams as far as qualification for the 2027 ODI World Cup is concerned. Neither one will want to slip further in the world rankings, and potentially lose out on direct qualification for that tournament.
West Indies are coming off the back of a three-match series against Ireland, while England's last ODI engagement was the Champions Trophy in March.
This series will kick off in Birmingham on May 29, for which England have already announced their playing XI. The second and third ODIs will be in Cardiff and at The Oval on June 1 and June 3.
