In the second ODI against England at Cardiff, West Indies were put in to bat, but lost teenage opener Jewel Andrew in the second over, bringing No.3 Keacy Carty to the wicket early on.

In the company of Brandon King, Carty guided the visitors to 56-1 by the end of the first Powerplay. He got to a half-century in the 19th over of the innings, off 59 balls. King also got past 50 soon after.

The pair then began to accelerate through the middle overs eventually putting on 141 at a run-a-ball before King was dismissed. Carty carried on, and made his way to a century off 102 balls before being dismissed for 103 off 105 balls.

As his third ODI century in his last four innings, and fourth overall, this continued Carty's excellent run of form in 50-over cricket of late. On May 23 and May 25 respectively, he had scored 102 and 170 against Ireland. His ODI career batting average has also ticked over 50.
